Think Judy is going to play an important role in Adaptation

Judy Greer ("The Wedding Planner") has been added to the cast of "Adaptation" for director Spike Jonze. She will play Alice, a waitress at a restaurant frequented by Nicolas Cage's character, with whom he falls obsessively in love. Meryl Streep and Chris Cooper also star.

Judy Greer in a new movie "Adaptation"

Judy Greer is going to be in a new movie called "Adaptation", which is in production now. Directed by Spike Jonze (Being John Malcovich).
An account of screenwriter Charlie Kaufman's (Nicolas Cage) attempt to adapt Susan Orlean's (Meryl Streep) non-fiction book The Orchid Thief, which is the story of John Laroche (Chris Cooper), a plant dealer who clones rare orchids then sells them to collectors. We see the action of the book as we see Kaufman struggle to adapt it into a movie. This is presumably a somewhat true story, as Charlie Kaufman is the real life screenwriter of Adaptation.

Betty Thomas to direct new ABC series

Judy Greer ("What Women Want," "The Wedding Planner") has been tapped to star in a new ABC comedy-drama set in the high-tech business. The Hollywood Reporter says the pilot for "Silicon Follies" will be directed and executive produced by Betty Thomas ("Private Parts," "28 Days"). The report said Hart Bochner ("Mr. Destiny, "Urban Legends: Final Cut") has also signed on to star in the projected series, which would take a jaded look at the world of companies in the California high-tech hub.
